I admit it, I didn't take a walk today. I had a giant bowl of ramen noodles at lunch and I could not bring myself to move from the table afterwards. Never fear, I have some fun facts to talk about anyway. In doing some research for a program I'm doing tomorrow, I came across these choice details:
- Cooper's Hawks (Accipiter cooperii) are built for fast flight through trees to catch their prey.
- Great Horned Owls (Bubo virginianus) weigh three pounds on average
- The bottom of a turtle's shell is called a plastron
- Corn Snakes (Elaphe guttata guttata) lay between 7-30 eggs only in June and July
