I did it! I beat those stupid mosquitoes! I bought CVS Deet-Free Insect Repellent and it works like a charm! I actually watched the evil monsters hover near my arm, confused as to why they couldn't land. I will admit the downfall to the spray is smelling like lemon Pledge, but totally worth it in my opinion.
Moving on, I came across a Bee Fly today, (Xenox tigrinus) to be exact. When I first saw it I thought it was a moth. Looking closer I noticed it's big ol' fly eyes. Took me a while to figure this one out. I mean, who has ever heard of one of these?
This is going to have to be it for today (since I spent most of it IDing previous posts).
