I See London, I See France....

Temperature: 77°
Humidity: 47%
Mostly Sunny

Can I just say that I giggle every time I read about descriptions of birds that talk about their "underpants". Of course I am referring to the feathers under a bird's belly, around the legs. Just so you know, a Brown Thrasher (Toxostoma rufum) has underparts that are white or buff with black streaking. Now if I had black streaking in my underpants..... okay, sorry, I won't even go there. Back to the thrasher. I really like them. They have a bold presence that never fails to catch my attention. Speaking of bold, a thrasher is an aggressive defender of its nest and has been known to strike people and dogs hard enough to draw blood. Note to self, stay far away from these birds.
